Store integration review
Connect Shopify to TikTok Shop for free
Sell on Shopify and want TikTok Shop orders without typing products twice or overselling? TikTok's sales channel app links the two stores: products sync across, TikTok orders land in Shopify, and you ship them from the admin you already use.
The short answer
TikTok's own Shopify sales channel is the pick if you sell only through Shopify and want TikTok Shop orders and stock handled without paying for a connector.

Store connectors for TikTok Shop side by side
Every connector we cover that links a Shopify or WooCommerce store to TikTok Shop, with the platforms it connects, how it syncs and how you can try it.
| Tool | Connects | Sync | Free trial | From |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6. TikTok (Shopify sales channel) | Shopify only | Automatic, stock checked per order | Free to install | Free tier |
| 7. CedCommerce TikTok Shop | Shopify, WooCommerce and four more | Near real-time | Free plan, 7-day paid trial | Free tier |
| 8. LitCommerce | Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix and more | Every 15 minutes | 7 days | $29/mo |
| 9. VeriSync for TikTok Shop | Shopify and other DTC stores | Products, stock and orders | 14 days | $15/mo |
What works
- Free to install, and TikTok bills you only for ad campaigns you choose to run
- TikTok Shop orders appear on Shopify's Orders page and are fulfilled from the Shopify admin
- TikTok checks Shopify stock when an order is placed and will not create an order for an item that has sold out
- The most reviewed connector here, rated 4.8 across more than 16,000 reviews on its App Store listing
What to watch
- Refunds have to be completed in TikTok Seller Center, so returns still take you into a second admin
- A recent App Store review describes deleting duplicate listings and redoing product linking after a sync change
- It is a Shopify app, so WooCommerce and other platforms need a third-party connector
The problem it solves
Your catalog, stock and shipping already live in Shopify. Selling on TikTok Shop as well should not mean entering every product twice, copying orders between two admins or selling a unit a web customer bought an hour ago. A connector moves products from Shopify to TikTok Shop and brings TikTok orders back, so Shopify stays the one place where stock is counted.
TikTok's own sales channel is the first connector to try, because it is free and made by TikTok. Three paid connectors cover the cases it does not, and the table above puts all four side by side.
How the channel moves products and orders
You install the TikTok app from the Shopify App Store and connect your TikTok Shop account. After setup, Shopify's help center says your products sync automatically with TikTok Shop, and you decide which products are available there the way you would for any other Shopify sales channel.
When someone buys on TikTok, the order shows up on the Orders page in Shopify and you fulfil it there, with the same pick, pack and ship routine as a web order. Before that order exists, TikTok checks the item's inventory in Shopify. If the stock is gone, Shopify does not create the order. That check is what stops you from selling the same last unit twice, and Shopify documents it on its TikTok orders page.
The same app also builds TikTok ads and adds the TikTok Pixel to your store. Both are optional, and ad spend goes to your TikTok ad account only while a campaign runs.
Where it falls short
Refunds stay in Seller Center. Orders arrive in Shopify, but Shopify's help pages say a refund for a TikTok order has to be completed in TikTok Seller Center. Whoever handles returns needs a login for both admins.
Product linking can break. A merchant reviewing the app in October 2026 describes deleting duplicate listings and redoing all of their product linking after the sync changed. The listing's overall rating is high, so this is a minority report, though a recent one.
It works with Shopify and nothing else. A WooCommerce, BigCommerce or PrestaShop store needs a third-party connector.
When a paid connector is worth it
Four situations push sellers past the free channel:
- Your store is not on Shopify. CedCommerce connects WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, PrestaShop, BigCommerce and Etsy as well as Shopify, and our review covers its WooCommerce plugin.
- You list on more marketplaces than TikTok. LitCommerce feeds TikTok Shop and other marketplaces from one store and imports TikTok orders back into Shopify.
- You want several European TikTok Shop markets from one tool. CedCommerce's Growth plan adds Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Ireland to the US and UK.
- Your catalog is large and your order count is modest. VeriSync syncs unlimited products on every plan and prices by yearly order volume.
Paid connectors carry their own sync risk. A CedCommerce user on the Shopify App Store reports SKUs that kept syncing after they disconnected and stock on TikTok that did not match Shopify. Each tool's review sets out its weak spot next to its strengths.
Work out the margin before you connect
A connector moves orders. Whether each one makes money after TikTok's referral fee, creator commission and shipping is a separate question. Our guide to how TikTok Shop referral fees hit margin explains every charge, and the TikTok Shop fee calculator gives profit per order. Our take
If your store runs on Shopify and TikTok is your only marketplace, install TikTok's channel first. It costs nothing to try, orders land where you already ship from, and the stock check at checkout guards against the most expensive sync failure. Move to a paid connector when one of the four situations above applies to you.

What users say about TikTok (Shopify sales channel)
Research: unverifiedDuplicate listings after a sync change ↓ common complaint
A recent App Store review describes having to delete duplicate listings and redo product linking after the channel's sync behaviour changed.
“Before today there were no issues syncing. I had to link slabs, was told not to worry about duplicates, then had to go back and delete all the duplicates and redo all of the linking I had just finished.”
Orders in Shopify, refunds in Seller Center
TikTok Shop orders show up and are fulfilled in Shopify, but Shopify's own help pages say refunds still have to be completed in TikTok Seller Center.
“If you need to refund an order to a customer, then you need to complete the refund in your TikTok Seller Center.”
“When a customer buys something through TikTok Shop, the order is displayed on the Orders page in Shopify.”
